This shave was very difficultly accomplished, because of the tendonitis I am experiencing in my left arm. I got pretty smooth, but I know I can do even better. Thank goodness for the mentholated stuff, because our weather is so hot now.

This next week will be hot and humid (yesterday's high was 98 F), so Menthol Monday sounded especially appealing. It might turn out to be Menthol Week! The Ingram shave was very refreshing, helped by the smoothness of the Astra blade. I was tempted to splash on some Osage Rub, but opted for the more subtle and agreeable scent of Proraso.

Am growing less satisfied with this soap the more I use it. It lacks glide for some reason, and today received a small nick for my troubles. I think I will retire this soap and go back to VDH Glycerin for the time being for Monday's.

A fantastic cooling shave this afternoon. The Wee Scot had plenty of lather for 2 passes plus some touch up. The OCMM and Gem blade were outstanding. No irritation and about as close to a BBS shave as I can expect. All followed up with a nice cooling splash of home mentholated Superior 70. 4.5 / 5

 

Now there's a razor that's seen some love! Ain't it great? happy088

 

It's a fantastic razor. A couple of the teeth are bent, has some brassing on the head, but shaves like a champ. It was PIF on another forum by Slivovitz to someone who didn't much care for it. He, in turn, put up a PIF and no one else entered but me. I won by default and could not be happier. I have been using it in rotation, but I think I am going to spend some extended quality time with it.

A DFS that was nice and cooling for a hot day.

 

I enjoyed my first Clog Pruf shave so much that I will definitely be keeping my eyes out for some more SEs. Top 2 on the list is a lather catcher & the OCMM. My Clog Pruf is all brass and I enjoy the used look to it, but your OCMM has a nice shine to it. I'm excited about using the SEs more, now just need to get some injector blades ordered so I can try my Schick I1.
