Hi all, David here and happy to see I've stumbled upon a great resource. About 2 months ago I forgot my razor and had to use an old mach3 and noticed with fewer blades I had a better shave than ever and started looking into alternatives to the horrible multi blade razors. I'm looking into the stickies thread to do research but would appreciate any advice on how to get started . Currently looking to probably get a sampler pack and will need a razor and feel a bit overwhelmed.

welcome to The Shave Den! A sampler pack is the perfect way to start. Every blade is different for everyone, so try different blades and those that you don't like set aside and try again a few months later, when your technique has evolved. As far as a razor goes, a vintage SuperSpeed would be a good place to start, but almost as many people that feel differently about blades, also feel differently about razors. Like we always say...........YMMV.
