Muhle R106 Red Israeli EJ Sea Buckthorn Soap (Gotta love the scent) Penworks Finest DR Harris Marlborough Lots of NICE lather comming from this soap. I picked it up last week and have tried it a few times, and I love it! Combined with my (only) DR Harris AS, the scent is heavenly. In fact the scent woke up my wife when I rested in bed before heading off to work (after the shvae), and she kept saying how good it smelled! That's a first! All in all, a wonderful start to the morning.

Thursday, August 11, 2011 Prep: Hot shower, California Baby face wash, hand strop blade Lather: Real Shaving Co. Sensitive + glycerin Brush: Frank Shaving Fine Badger Razor: Ever Ready 1924 Blade: Walgreen's Gem (8), 2 passes Post: WH + alum splash, Aqua-Velva Ice Blue, hand strop blade Cold water shave, face lather 2 new things with this shave; my first shave with the Ever Ready '24 and the Real Shaving Co cream. I think the blade may be ending it's life as there was some tugging that I don't normally have and I doubt that it's from the razor or cream. So it went into the blade bank and I'll do the same setup for my shave tomorrow to really see. The '24, however, lived up to the hype when it comes to the sound it makes and the efficiency with which it cuts. What an enjoyable shave even with the slight tug noticed in my problem areas.

I got "11" great shaves from these blades and I still can't believe it. Eleven is a lucky number, so no more rolling the dice. I win!!! I think I will replace my Red Israeli Personnas with the Rapira Platinum Lux. My order for the Voshod Teflon Coated Blades arrived and I am very anxious to try them, although they might be a tad too aggressive, we will see! Great BBS Shave with a Big "5" Blade rating!!!!!!!!!

This is it! Last shave from Wisconsin!! Hot Shower Green Marvy Mug Omega Pro Boar AOS Lavender SC Schick Injector G - Turquoise Schick (2) Cool Water Rinse Hyatt Portico Citrus & Lavender Body Lotion My razor/blade combos have served me well during my travels. I have quite enjoyed switching between the Lady Gillette and the Injector. I still say, these evening shaves rock! Now, to finish packing, and hit the sheets. 3:30am will come way to soon! Have a great evening and look out FL .. I'm coming home!!
I tend to agree with you. Since I started going to the gym before work, I have been shaving in the evening. I have much more time to enjoy my shave and as a result, I have been getting better shaves. Thursday Evening. Gem Micromatic Open Comb Gem Stainless PTFE (4, I think) Omega 49 Professional Williams Mug Soap Alum - Thanks Jeff Superior 70 Bay Rum Williams continues to impress me. I decided to use it until the currently loaded blades are done. Tonight might be the last shave for the SE blade as it was getting tuggy near the end. I may be able to pull one more from it. I still have at least 2 more shaves left in the Voskhod, giving me at least 3 more days of Williams. It definitely takes a bit more effort to lather then the Arko stick and the lather isn't as voluminous, but I have been enjoying the shaves. It doesn't stand a chance against the big boar.
Because it contains Phenoxyethanol and I can't use it. This reason was enough for them to stop the production
Brush:- TOBS pure badger Soap:- Kent Razor:- Muhle R102 open comb/Merkur futur gold Blade:- Personna super A/S balm:- L'occitane cade As you can see used 2 razors (both for the first time) started with the Muhle R102 felt like i was gettin a facial from freddie krugger, so quickly changed to the Futur set at 2, fantastic shave i can see why so many people rate the Futur.
