Palmolive shaving stick - great stuff, and very reasonably-priced.

For those Palmolive lovers who want a soap version, this might be for you - I know I'm mostly a cream lover, but I'm crazy about these sticks, and here's why:

Ease of lathering: 9/10--Very easy to work with. Excellent lather fast.

Longevity of lather: 8/10--Pretty stable. You can do more than 1 pass quite easily.

General skincare: 8/10--Moisturizes quite well. Not irritating at all.

Scent: 8/10--Different than the cream version. Still, quite nice.

Price: 10/10--Fantastic value. However, not usually available in North America.

Would I buy again: 10/10--Definitely. It's an excellent soap which I always enjoyed very much.

Although I'm more of a cream user, I still enjoy using soaps, and this is one soap that I think I'll always keep in my rotation. The lather is very good, the scent is nice, the skincare is there, and the price is very hard to beat. palsk.jpg

Yep, to be honest I think I rate it higher than the Fat for me. It really is an outstanding lather, and one I intend to hoard.

I love the palmolive stick. I always keep one in my travel bag. It has absolutely never let me down while travelling. Not fancy, always good. An excellent choice.

I didn't care for it at first, even though it was easy to lather. But after trying other stuff, this always gives me a good lather and shave on the road. It leaves my face feeling good, even when I am sunburned, windburned, or razorburned. It has grown on me. It treats my face almost as good as proraso white.
I have to say I really like reading crackstar's reviews. I seem to have similar taste's, though I prefer soaps over creams, but when I read his reviews, I want to buy some more.

If there ever was one shaving item I hoard, it's the Palmolive Shave Stick. Cheap, very effective and doesn't stink. I love 'em.

This is one of those products that works very well for me, but I just don't like the scent.

Keep up the reviews, I know lots of people enjoy reading them. You get to use more "exotic" stuff than most of us ever get a chance to see.

I recently picked up a couple of these, and they have quickly earned a coveted spot in my den. It's open of those products that after finally getting to use it, made me ask why I waited so long to pull the trigger. Fantastic all around.

I just started using one last week, and I gotta say...I really wasn't expecting it to be this good. Oodles of tallow, nice clean scent, super cheap. That sounds pretty good to me.

The Palmolive shave stick is impressive. I'm not a stick user so I split it and pressed it into a mug. The lather is great, scent is alright, shave is grand and afterwards my skin feels wonderful. Oh, one more thing, the stick is cheap too! What more could one ask for?

Tried one and it lived up to it's hype. Wish they sold them in North America for around the same price you see them for in England.
