My latest.. 1958 (D-3 date code) Gillette Executive, aka "adjustable Executive", aka "gold Fat Boy". I figured since I've the 1949 Executive, might as well get the other Executive too... I am trying my best to control my spending habits. I wish you would quit showing nice finds like this.
I figured Jake had a pact with the devil to keep coming up with all his beautiful razors - now I am thinking the deal might have been made with you!!!! Another wonderful score. I love the two photos merged together.......
Excellent set! Great score and these cousins needed to reconnect after 60+ years. Glad you have them both in a good home again...
Nope, haven't really been in a hurry to pick one of those up yet but I guess I'll have to now. I don't even have a Toggle... anymore. Used to. Back when I had to liquidate to pay for mom's funeral, it was one of the first that I had to let go of. It hurt me in the heart bad to do it but I had to.... and my double ring too.
Are the double ring OC's in the ABC sets considered a double ring or just the older shaft and tube OC's?
Just the shaft/tube one is considered/called a "double ring" and that's not the official name really. It's just a name shavers and collectors use to differentiate it from the "single ring".
