Wyatt I had a simular view this morning . It sure as a beaut of a sunrise. The clouds were pretty interesting and something you don't see everyday.

It depends on what parts you live in, as most of the vegetation in the valley is manufactured, or known as "Desert Landscaping" ie cactus, rocks and dirt.... For whatever reason they also thought it was a good idea to make man made lakes in the middle of cities too...

Ahhh...Tempe town lake. Don't remember the exact year they finished it but once completed I drove by it everyday on the 202. Is that a light rail train passing by? Don't think that was up and running when I moved away. Nice pic.
Its still in the 100's out here wishing it would cool off already, I guess the grass is always greener right? Shep the light rail has been finished for a few years now and its really nothing more than a hindrance, especially once you get to downtown Phoenix, with all the weird one way streets. At least Tempe Market Place is pretty nice, the free concerts are pretty cool when they have decent bands.
