To get the weekly thread started, I've decided to pull up pictures from other members posts from the TSD SOTD Archives, this weeks picture is courtesy of saltypete:

 

Since I don't have time to get my gear ready for pictures tomorrow, I went ahead and shot tomorrows gear today...

Going to try Jeff's tub lathering technique again for the TSD wheat, and gonna kick my Canoe AS up a notch with 444 gel for a true Menthol Monday!

Morning Coffee: Hills Brothers Original Blend
Prep: Wash face with Musgo Real Glyce Lime, hot towel soak
Razor: EJ DE86
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Blue
Cream: D.R. Harris Arlington Shave Soap
Brush: D.R. Harris H1
Post: Cold water rinse followed by some Speick After Shave Lotion

Well, I received a nice gift from my son on Sunday afternoon, so I decided to try it this morning. All I can say is it was an excellent shave. This is a quality product that produced a quality lather and shave.

I don't do theme weeks.:biggrin: Although actually, I think I am on a Williams week, used it the past three days now, and I think I'll keep it up a few more days.
Every now and then, though, I break out one of my DEs, just to remind myself that there are alternatives to injectors.

Prep: Hot shower, hand strop blade
Coffee: Home roasted, fresh ground Kenya Safari Ridge, BLACK
Cream: KMF Unscented + 2 drops Em's Woodstock EO + 3 drops M Bomb
Brush: Ever Ready 250PB
OC: Merkur 11C
Blade: Voskhod, day 1, 3+ passes
Post: Cold water rinse, ice water splash, Osage Rub, Curve, hand strop blade

Shave Rating: 4 Blades

First time with the Voskhod; a little rough, but very nice end results. I've found some blades to be that way on the first shave. We'll see how tomorrow goes.

 

Sorry guys, it is what it is. I do not own any open comb razors.

 

That's ok, you always take pictures. But I am looking forward to seeing some OC eyeCandy.

Had my first go with a Rapira. Very sharp and smooth, like a Voskhod. Definitely a quality shave today.

A nice shave with a little menthol--a great way to start the day!

 

Menthol Monday:

Omega Wooden Handle
Super Speed/7 AM day 4
TSD Wheat Iced Subzero SC
TSD Iced Subzero AS Milk
Polo Original EDT

The menthol power of this Iced Subzero stuff is beyond belief - the cream starts to freeze your face on contact, and it just gets colder and colder throughout the shave. The aftershave milk is comparable to Osage Rub or Alcolado Glacial, if not colder. :biggrin:

• Prep: Hot shower, shampoo + M-Bomb, California Baby face wash, Musgo Real men's body soap (Thanks Johnny!), hand strop blade
• Lather: TSD ISZ Wheat Cream - face lather
• Brush: Frank Shaving Finest
• Razor: Gem OCMM
• Blade: Ted Pella SS PTFE (6), 2+ passes
• Post: Alum block, WH + M-Bomb, hand strop blade

After reading some great threads on JoAnna's wheat cream I was able to load the brush from the tub and get a great face lather this morning. The ISZ scent/menthol experience + the M-Bomb in my shampoo and witch hazel made for a splendidly frosty experience that my face loved every second of.
