Technically a Sunday night, Oct. 9th shave, but what the heck...
After a relaxing weekend camping in the Pennsylvania wilderness near Gettysburg in a rural cabin with no running water, I'm glad to be fresh, clean and newly shaved! It was fun roughing it a bit with friends, but it's good to be clean again.
Brush: Vie-Long 13052, horse hair
Razor: 50's Super Speed
Blade: Rapira Super Stainless, 3 or 4 ...not sure
Soap: Speick shave stick in a bowl
Toner: Thayer's lavender witch hazel
AS: Speick splash

Absolutely perfect and luxurious shave! BBS finish and top notch performance! Happy Shaving!

Post: Cold water rinse followed by some Musgo Real After Shave Balm

Dialed down 2 notches on the Slim to give neck nicks from Saturday another day to recover. Did 2 passes, and got a fair DFS.

It's the second day in a row with MWF. I've decided to stick with the MWF for this whole week and, so far, am enjoying my decision. The shave this morning was excellent and the lanolin goodness has left my face feeling great.

As I stated a couple of days ago, I enjoy my Lord Super razor also - it doesn't look like very much, but it gives damn close and comfortable shaves without so much effort. The Derbylux cream and Barbon aftershave were my imaginary voyage to Hungary - they are both loaded with menthol! :biggrin:

Great shave. I hadn't used a shave cream in a while as I'd gotten into a shave stick kick. The Futur/Voshkod combo mowed through a 5 day beard like it wasn't there.

I tried this MEM cream for the first time this morning. It has a wonderful scent, something I would call Barbershop-like? Anyway it was a rich smooth lather...just another plus to the Israeli products my wife brought home!

Mem is a fantastic cream. I can honestly say it is one of the best from Israel. Maybe even better than Lavendor. When I lived there, I used it very, very many times, and so did my Dad and both of my grandfathers.
