Today has been gray and rainy all day. Days like this make arthritis play havoc.

Did you see the press release?

nope, but that's a brilliant idea!
I mean, that just makes so much sense, and less confusing, to change your business model by splitting up services and giving it another name, like other video renting services have done with great success; I can think of no reason it would fly over smoother than butter on a bald monkey with the customer base, I'm sure they'll accept it with open arms and gifts.........

I know this is a politics free zone, but I had a thought today about the impending elections:

90% of a successful campaign these days is who has the better marketing.

    Picture this:
A Michelle BACHMAN/Ted TURNER ticket--Let's kick the economy into OVERDRIVE!

I shudder to think how effective that might actually be.

    LOL!

I still think the winner so far is "Rock you like a Herman Cain", though :)

Well... after many many hours and checking all accessible wiring the camper still had no left turn signal. So, we found a route to the campgrounds and back home with no left turns...

Check engine light? Well, disconnecting battery would set off safety and security features so I took it to autozone for a code scan. Fuel injector dirty?... odd how that was just cleaned a week earlier during routine maintenence checkup. odd... but then I filled up the gas tank this morning and the light went off. Eh? Oh well

    Spamalot tomorrow!

Spamalot just came through work a few weeks ago.

They had the helmet sitting in the hallway reattaching the horn.

I so wanted to put it on.

Once a month a team form Church goes to the local Rescue Mission. We fix and serve a meal to those in need. Today we served 170 bowls of homemade Meatblall Vegetable soup.
One of our team memebers did the service. We have one that makes fresh cakes. It was a blessing to serve everyone a meal.

Well, I broke down and bought a pandigital nova... so far i don't get the less than stellar reviews. I guess It depends on your expectations

I got the novel. I loaded an 8GB card and loaded up a lot of music to listen to when I have to work late. For what it is and the pricing, it fits the bill for what I want it to do.

yeup, if you're expecting the quality of a Samsung or apple tablet, you'll be sorely disappointed.
But if you know what you're getting and have reasonable expectations, it's a decent device.
The biggest thing that could drastically improve it would be capacitive touchscreen, but that would raise the price considerably. But if you've ever had a Palm device, then the resistive isn't too big a drawback (unless you've gotten used to your capacitive touchscreen phone....)

EDIT: when you texted me, I thought you mistyped "novel", but a quick search reveals a model called the Nova, and now....my Novel is jealous. It reads as if the Nova has a capacitive screen? and android 2.3? Much better device, it would seem...how much was it again? Might be useful for the kids

Got ready to bathe last night- no water. Checked the well... just a few inches of mud at the foot valve. The water table is finally lower than my shallow well. No rain in the forcast any time soon. Ugh.
