Man, what a crappy evening.

So many comments, so little time for the ensuing reprimands.....

 

Doing better...my LOST flyers look pretty good and even include a map of where the phone was last active (it's on map view...so it doesn't include a picture of the house...I thought there may be legal issues with that). The only bad thing is Bell (I live in Canada) is refusing to reactivate the line for me to track it again. I can understand their point though! Good news is the replacement is easy to get. Also no one is bothering me at work (thankfully). I think it helps that I look like garbage from lack of sleep and shaving...and my IM status is "Do Not Disturb".

I hope evyone else had a netter Halloween than me. Although my girls did look adorable!

 

wow, that stinks!

Our Halloween was really good. Took the kids to a friend's house and they went trick-or-treating in his neighborhood. Kids had a ball. Wife enjoyed herself.

And then, today, we signed a contract for the house we want to buy. We're waiting to hear back as to if our offer is accepted. Get this- 2000 sq. ft. house (3 bed, 2 bath, one office room) for 130k. Price per square foot is approx $65 per. Oh, and it's relatively new construction.

So we're happy today!

 

Living where I do...your lucky to get a 1 bedroom condo for that price! Good luck! I hope it goes through!

 

I just checked the calendar... nope, it's not BGDAAA! but it sure feels like it.

Have I mentioned that I hate his satellite internet that I have to use here yet? I need to get a better wi-fi antenna, and I need to get my sister to set up a repeater, their house is just too huge.

 

On a whim, I decided to check out the gawker sites from my nova. I guess because it defaults to the mobile version, it's actually tolerable. I still won't be frequenting them as a matter of principle, but it's still good to know.

Well...no luck on getting my wife's phone back. The people who's house I traced it to let my father-in-law and myself into the yard to search everywhere. They seemed pretty offended that we thought it was there (and the son was acting rather questionable...slow to answer and nervous)...but that's what the satellite said, and its all I had to go with. I think there is a 0.00000000001% chance that a gps signal was given off last night. I'll check with my wife when she gets up.

Other than that, I am mentally preparing myself for another boring day of work (the first 3 days of the month are always brutally dry) by listening to Weird Al.

 

thanks! got word from the realtor last night that the seller accepted our offer. the paperwork hasn't come through yet, but we're on our way to buying our first house.

 

my son is in a pirate phase. this hits so close to home it almost isn't funny. note that I typed "almost."

Of course, the Christmas decorations and stuff have been out for weeks already, but I try to not play any Christmas music or movies until the week of Thanksgiving
