I need a special kind of encouragement today. ​

 

Expeienced this one about 3 hours ago....

 

My wife signed the divorce agreement and waiver of citation no problems. So, I guess her part is done now..... I'll have to sign it next, and then I get to go to court sometime after the next 60 days.

 

Then there's this, which is pretty darned awesome.

 

Netflix really needed a feather in their cap after all the recent bonehead moves. I think they can call this one macaroni.

yep.

 

spent the afternoon fighting with Microsoft Silverlight. First I couldn't get movies to load in IE. Then they wouldn't work in Firefox either. I uninstalled and reinstalled once. Then tried to uninstall again but it wouldn't let me. The computer kept telling me the Silverlight edition that was installed was up to date and okay.

Well, finally found an automated tool to fix the broken install and re-installed silverlight. now we can stream netflix again. Only had to survive one kiddo melt down. Hell hath no fury as that of a 5y.o. denied his daily ration of kids t.v.

Is it ridiculous that after downloading almost all of the Bond soundtracks (I'll be finishing up tonight or tomorrow), I have a crazy strong hankerin' to watch the bond movies?

What was freakish was the fact that I left my computer downloading an album on Saturday while we went into town to do a little Entitlemas shopping. While out and about I found one of the Bond movies I didn't already own, in the edition I'm collecting (Have to have the matching cases, don't ya know) for only $2.75! Woohoo! Diamonds Are Forever. Anyway, we get home, I pull up the page to get the next sound track...

Diamonds are Forever.

Kinda freaked me out.

Okay... so, xerox copier/printer prints half a ream of gibberish. The banner sheet reads "Remote User" and the print job was at 5:10 AM and again at 5:20 AM.

Any thoughts?

 

It must be an Engineer / Computer Programmer or a student of those fields!

 

I'm prone to suspect a faulty mobo on the printer.

 

I love my job, but I'm already looking forward to the end of hours on Wednesday. Anyone else with me?

 

Except for the loving my job part, and in my case it's Tuesday, but yeah, pretty much--you and me? Same boat!

 

That's great that you're able to start relaxing afterwork on Tuesday. Enjoy it, I'm sure it's well earned!
