    Yes, it was a nice shave indeed and also yes, the Valobra has a noticeably lower Menthol content then some of those creams you prefer... ;)

    That was not me you quoted regarding the use of talc, but, coincidentally enough, I, too, often do apply talc to my neck area and even my face if I shave at night or am not going out right away afterwards. I find it to be wonderfully soothing after a shave and excellent for my skin, which can tend towards oiliness.

    And. because I suspect you all love pictures as much as I love pictures, here is a shot of my current 2 favorite talcs...

    That was me. About 10 minutes after shaving I like to apply talc and give a good dusting. If I am going right out, I will usually put the talc in my palm, then the AS and create a blend to keep me from looking powdery. Try to find a Caswell Massey dealer. They have a lot of nice scents to offer.

    JoAnna, don't believe too much of Google Translate. Listen to me - in German, "liebe Grüße" means not best wishes. It means literally dear greetings. Best wishes would be "besten Wünsche". You know that I have been speaking German all my life. [​IMG]
