I purchased it with the thought of using it as a travel brush. I wanted a color that would be hard to forget when packing up a hotel room in a rush.
I had a plan, it might be silly, but it was my plane.
Its a nice brush, it shed a bit when I first started using it, but it seems better now. I just need to get a nice tube for it so I can use it for travel.
I think the Omega boar travel brush lathers better, but maybe if I gave it more love, it would work better.

    Thursday Very Early Morning

Seehund 5/8, NF2213, GFT Sandalwood, Alum, Old Spice Whitewater
    [IMG]
Well it was a little annoying, I messed up the lather for the 1st pass (too dry) not sure how I managed that with a Trumpers product but I did. The Seehund had come fresh off the coticule with an experimental 60 finishing laps on mineral oil. The shave was excellent despite the poor lather so the honing must have been spot on.

Another day of MWF. I like to use it for a few days in a row as my face really seems to enjoy it's feeling. I know this is a polarizing love or hate soap. I had a mug I knew would fit it so I figured at worst I'd have expensive shower soap. It turns out to have been great to my face, and it lathers great here with lots of cushion. Johnny was really helpful in getting me to try it and I am so glad I did.

    And now, the line up

    Assorted hot/cold wraps soaks
Proraso Pre and post (also applied after witch hazel)
    Vulfix 404 Mixed
    MWF
    EJDE89
    Lord Platinum (2)
    Witch Hazel
    Pinaud Lime Sec
    Caswell Massey Jockey Club Talc

The Lime Sec had just enough bite and a light true Lime scent. It's quite nice.

    JHL Cologne

My 1st shave with this Nazca Ravor cream which I received on Monday, and I think it's very, very good. The lather is slick and nice, the scent is beautiful, and it seems to be very soothing. The Hega aftershave from Sweden is alcohol-based, but it not only cools and soothes my skin - I don't seem to need any moisturizer. ;)

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
    Razor: Merkur Progress XL
    Blade: Ladas Super Stainless
    Brush: Vulfix 2234 Super
Soap or Cream: Cyril Salter Indian Sandalwood Cream
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Ogallala Bay Rum & Sandalwood Toner

An excellent BBS shave this morning with the Ladas blade, which is becoming one of my favorites. It's smooth and sharp and lasts at least 7 shaves for me (5 is my usual norm, except for Super Iridiums, which are good for 15--for me, anyway).
