Monday of "Grab the Gold Week" Beard Prep: Hot Shower, shampooed whiskers with shampoo from a bottle with a Gold colored top. Soap: Arko Shave Stick--Straight wet stick to wet face. Rubbing in a swirling fashing ATG Brush: Omega 10029 Baby-Pro boar Razor: 1955-58 Gold Plated Head, Schick-Eversharp Hydro-Magic Post: Cold Water rinse, Arko-Nem orange-mango moisturizer, Rebul Lavenda Colonia, Caron Pour Un Homme EdT Two passes of Gold Standard Perfection...I've been bowl mixing lately and digging it...But theres nothing like Shave Stick directly on face to really get each whisker to pull little bits of soap, great soap distribution....And the HOT water filled brush holds the heat better going directly to face to make the lather.
No holding back for you then, huh?! Great set-up for your first DE shave. They will only continue to improve. Glad to have you here at 'da Den!
I'd say....nicely done! And it's true...it will only get better....I used to get a couple of weepers when I shaved til I started listening to Miles Davis...Now weepers are a thing of the past...lol!! Just kidding....Miles got the same excellent results as Stevie...
 Thanks! I'd like to point out that the stropping handle on the Model B is silver, not gold. And that while the shaving handle IS gold plated, the blade, made from the finest Sheffield steel, is not. Shhhh, if we're really quiet, we can actually hear the blade rusting! (I got alot of those little silica bags)

Monday Morrisons Facial Pre wash Feather Artist Club SS Razor Semogue SOC Boar. (With a little imagination the handle looks a little golden!) Wilkinson Sword shave stick Witch Hazel Boots Rosewater and Glycerine Bay Rum. (Perhaps gold rum was used in its manufacture!!!!!) Not my best shave....but not my worst either. I had one weeper on a cheekbone. I think I pushed the Feather pro blade a shave too far. This was #8. I think I will have a cut off at six shaves just to be sure.

R41 w/ Feather (4) Semogue OC Boar Nord Ost SC Alum Nord Ost ASB This kit would have been 'golden' had I not tried to stretch my Feather blade to day 4. It just wasn't the smartest thing to do, but in my defense, I was still sleeping while shaving this morning. The Semogue OC Boar brush is becoming a top performer, but has not surpassed the 2000 yet. It still needs some time to fully develop. I really enjoyed the Nord Ost this morning. The lather was rich and creamy and the ASB was pleasant. I'll break out a gold razor tomorrow.
Thanks further kind words guys! I have been wet shaving with the AOS kit for about 10 days now using a Schick Hydro 5 cart razor. My goal is to learn to shave with a straight whenever I can (note my new strop hanging) and DE shave when I have less time to spend. And you're right I do smell like sandalwood and it smells amazing! They are pretty good products. Never had a better shave but I am also spending a lot more time on proper face prep and it definitely pays off over the can of goo I was using.

Johnny, every so often the Denu cream is available at this guy's store that I buy at, but the prices he charges are high. The Diana Sport balsam is from Austria. A friend of mine sent it to me.
