Another good razor: Barbasol razor Iridium blade VdH Luxury badger Vintage Old Spice Soap First try with the Barbasol, and got a very good shave. I just have this one pack of Iridiums, which I'm only just now getting around to trying, after they've been discontinued. The Old Spice soap is very nice indeed, but not so much that I'd buy more at eBay prices. Maybe I'll get lucky at a thrift shop some time. The VdH badger has started shedding a bit too much, hopefully it's just a phase.

The lather is super-rich and creamy just like the Godrej creams. The Alt Innsbruck makes the end of a shave so enjoyable!

Tuesday, December 6th Razor: Rotbart Blade: Super Iridium Brush: Semogue LE2 #87 (Boar) Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat A/S: Floid Suave I gave into temptation an adopted a Semogue LE Boar Brush (#87). The finest boar hair is definitely a different creature from your typical boar hair and it is fairly soft right out of the box. I had no problems ginning up a copious amount of lather from Mitchell's Wool Fat and enjoyed an excellent shave followed by a splash of Floid Suave.
