    Grab the Gold

    Warm soak
    Tweezerman Badger loaded with Col.Ichabod Conk Lime Shave Soap
    Gillette Ball end Tech - Vintage Gillette Super Stainless blade - 2 Pass
    Warm rinse - Cold Rinse
    Finish with Clubman Special Reserve AS

    I do not generally like the Tech shave but equipped with this
    vintage blade it was a completely different tool

    Not a secret, I love Valobra soaps. I rarely use the stick, but this shave was just a pleasure! BBS!

    End of Medicare Season Shave

    I entered my last policy, and the first thing I did was head for a shower. I then went for a shave, as I did not shave this morning and I have one very early appointment tomorrow that I will shave afterwards. And then it's just covering phones as the weekend will end with the Giants at Dallas.

    Today's shave was Five Blades, the line up is below

    I got my Fatip about a month ago from Phil at Bullgoose but I'm just now getting a chance to put it thru its paces. What a sweet razor. For those guys that liked the R41 but found it too irritating, the Fatip is a great solution. Smooth shave but perfectly aggressive at the same time. If the R41 is a 10 on the scale of aggresiveness, the Fatip is 8.5.

    Thursday 8 December

    A shave with my new stuff

    TSD ISZ soap
    Omega Boar 10015, face lather
    Gillette Milord, w/ Gillette 7O'Clock Super Platinum Blue (day 1)
    TSD ISZ splash, and proraso ASB

    I just received my TSD order yesterday and I had to try out my new stuff.
    The ISZ soap was nice and chilly and gave me a very good shave. The new blade was a little rough on me with one small weeper on the neck (usual place). This was a three pass DFS++, just missed BBS.

    The TSD ISZ splash is cold, probably colder than osage rub, and definitely colder than alcolado glacial. The smell is fantastic, very minty. That was a big wakeup for me this morning.
