Early Monday Morning Dovo Prima Silver Steel Penhaligan's English Fern Soap Simpson 57 Alum Old Spice Whitewater A close comfortable shave, this Dovo is awesome. My 1st use of English Fern and not 100% successful, oddly the lather was exiting the brush from the base in a way that I don't usually find. I think this soap may be best suited to bowl lathering than face lathering. I shall persist though as having palm lathered to get the right consistency it was great. The razor was a Birthday gift, the brush and soap were both PIFs (I have some wonderful friends in the world of wetshaving) and the aftershave was on sale when I bought it. The only thing that was full price was the Alum but that was only £1.40 IIRC
Monday 19 December-Menthol Monday TSD ISZ Soap Omega Boar, 10015, Face Lather GEM Micromatic, GEM SS Blade (D2) TSD ISZ Splash, with Proraso ASB This was a three pass DFS. The GEM does a great job on the face, I can't do better with any other razor, but I can't seem to do a great job under the jaw and on the neck with it. Still some stubble ATG, guess I'll have to try again. Have a great day.
Menthol Monday: Omega Wooden Handle Super Speed/7 AM day 3 Kool Frosty SC Keri unscented moisturizer Barbon AS JHL Cologne These 7 AM's have very good longevity - this is only my 3rd shave with this blade, and it still cuts like it's brand-new. The Kool Frosty cream and the Barbon aftershave delivered their iciness beautifully for me this morning!

Monday! Hot Shower Green Marvy Mug Omega Pro Boar TSD ISZ SC + 1/2 pump KMF Lord L6 Super Max Super Platinum (2) Cool Water Rinse Anherb AS Gel Wow was that an invigorating shave! I got a little abmitious with the amount of SC I used ... I had enough to shave me and both the cats .. I decided Trix would look funny if I actually shaved him ... although I do threaten it quite a bit. Plus I have heard that if a cat isn't groomed from kittenhood they become embarrassed if you actually remove their hair. I think the lady at the pet grooming place was pulling my leg. It is interesting that I can have such a chilly shave and then sweat profusely while blow-drying my hair ... the things we do for beauty. Have a great Monday!
