    Darn = I planned my New Years Shavein and got all excited about it and now I get a party gig - Oh well I need the cash so I will just have to post pone the shave until Sunday morning.

    I am overwhelmed and also set for quite some time. I love the Cella Soap and the Alcolado Glacial that Mechguy turned me on to.

    Also very curious about the Gillette Blacks. The mellower blacks might be a good match for my Slanty. The Jagger likes the Gillette Yellow Sharp Edge.

    -TFS Ciotole Barbe Blu 125ml (Tcheon Fung Sing Italian soft shaving soap)
    -TFS Ciotole Barbe Rosse 125ml(Tcheon Fung Sing Italian soft shaving soap)
    -Fabulon Aftershave Black Musk 100ml
    -Barbon Giftset (Shaving cream, After shave, Shower gel-shampoo plus Figaro After shave)
    -Alum Block
    Few more things are about to come home...:cool:

    A early birthday Haul from my wonderful wife.
    It is something I did ask for and received early due to return policies (in case I don't like it)
    A CROSLY 4 in 1 unit (Burn LP's, cassettes to disc)
    CD, Mp3, LP, Tape and /am/fm radio.

    So far I am not impressed, the 50watt rms will not push my little speakers.
    it does sound good on its own.
    response time from remote to the unit is terrible.
    difficult to tune radio stations.

    I did want a Retro look, and this is a nice looking unit,
    A piece of furniture!
    I take it for what it is ( not high end audio )
    But for $399.oo I want to be happy with it.
    I am going to evaluate for the weekend.

    My mother purchased a similar type of unit a few years ago, albeit it doesn't do MP3's; I think these things are cool regardless if it doesn't blow up your room with sound.

    If you decide to keep it, take it back anyway. Get a refund and then get online and buy it for half price all day long.

    Edit: I forgot you're in Canada and Target's first Canadian stores don't open until 2013. I'll leave it to you to find any of those other places that are in Canada or ship to Canada.

    My R41 Grande arrived today ! Received a great shave today with only one neck wound,I guess I'll have too show a little more respect!Here it is next too my well used EJ89.

    I do like the look of it, just want to listen to my LP's at a reasonable level
    I was hoping it would drive a second set of speakers (bookshelf) to get a bigger effect, it does have the RCA jacks for it.

    Lynn purchased it at Sears (charged it) they have several other models available at half the cost, this was the most expensive.
    I may just return it and look at rebuilding a component system, I'll give it a fair shake and decide Monday

    Don't wait too long to decide. Sears just announced it is closing 79 Sears and 41 K-Mart stores here in the USA. They may not want it back. :happy102:

    You most definitely could put together a nice and decent system complete with receiver, cd/dvd player, turntable and speakers for that same $400 but I don't know about the recording vinyl-to-cd part of it...

    Well.....the results of a few beers and an arrears cheque from my previous employer have started to arrive!

    1 x Feather Artist Club RG folding razor.

    As I really want to use my REAL straights:

    1 x Latigo leather bench strop
    1 x Balsa Laptop strop
    1 x Felt Laptop strop
    1 x Bottle of Chromium oxide semi paste
    1 x Bottle of Diamond slurry

    All stuff I needed.....but perhaps not so quickly!!!
    ....SWMBO picked them up for me. The frosty silence I received made up for the lack of seasonal snow
