Gillette 59 fatboy set to 7 Astra blade (D-2) Kent soap Omega 10275 boar DFS I dont remember setting the fatboy to 7, as my slim is always on 6 (as was the FB) but I'm liking the 7 felt great really smooth. Tiny brush only needed to be loaded up once for 3 pass shave + touch-up
Barbasol Razor w/ Voskhod (3) Semogue OC Boar Nord Ost SC Alum Nord Ost ASB Just a quick one pass shave to start the week. Too much residual irritation from the shave yesterday. A good shave for what it's worth.

This is freaky because I love the scent of the Floid, but my wife hates it - she says it smells too old, but our daughter loves it on me.

Just ask your daughter how old she thinks you are and that will probably explain it. Unless she's old enough to really know your age, then it's just your wife wanting to keep you smelling younger which to me means she thinks you look younger too. Not too shabby either way!
Monday Kraut & Donahl 9/16; Merkur Futur Astra (4) Altesse Badger brush Omega soap Aqua Velva Decent shave from the K&D. Either beard must have been heavier than I tought, or Ineed to work on my technique with the smaller razor. I had still had stubble left on my neck after three passes with the straight so I had to drag out the Futur for some touch up on the neck. I am very spoiled with my three 6/8 straight razors!

Monday, January 9th Razor: GIBBS Click Pen* Blade: Schick Chromium* Brush: Simpson Ehsan* Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime Soap: Old Spice* A/S: Trumper Marlborough* I enjoyed a fine shave from products that are no longer in production. The Simpson Ehsan ginned up a fine lather from the Old Spice soap and the Gibbs Click Pen adjustable loaded with a fresh Schick Chromium blade mowed down the stubble with ease. A splash of Trumper Marlborough (no longer available as an aftershave splash) and I am ready for the day. * indicates that the item is no longer in production.
