If you don't like the scent of the other TOBS you've mentioned I am certain you won't like the Avocado.
Kinda what I was thinking...3 and 0 just aren't very good odds for TOBS..... I do not think I will be purchasing anymore of their products
I may have to try some GFT....I am not much on creams anymore though... I have become more fond of soaps.... however thats not to say I wont use the occasional cream like I did today....I think the C.O. Bigelow and the Omega are the 2 creams that will always have a spot in my cabinet.
Note taken! Iv got a list of items in my computer that iv typed up over the past few months of things I would like to try and these will be added asap...thank you!
Monday Dovo Bismarck 6/8 Altesse Badger brush Omega soap Booster Mosswood A/S Polo EDT DFS shave! I had to be work a little for this because the Bismarck was pulling a little so I took it to the barber's hone after the shave and stropped it so the next time I use this razor, it should shave like a dream again! Since I am off for the holiday, I used my wife's favorite scent rather than the Aqua Velva I usually use on Monday.

January 16 2012-Face Lather Week Today's shave, for the third day in a row, was dominated by products from our Queen. And she is a giving Queen, and a fine artisan. I didn't get into shower and shave until about 1, using the extra time to read, reflect, and refocus. And nothing helps finish such a project then a shower and shave. And this was no normal shower and shave, it was bliss, pure bliss. Following a hot shower with MWF, which I swear has cured psoriasis, I set out to the shave that I laid out for myself. TSD ISZ PreShave-15 minute soak TSD ISZ SC Omega 80005 Wooden Handled Brush-today would be a big test Gillette 7 o'clock Black (3) Merkur 37 C Slanty Witch Hazel (forgot I had ISZ witch hazel) TSD ISZ Milk-10 minute soak by this point, I am teary eyed, but I could barely make out the penguin form. Alcalado Glacial This was one of the smoothest shaves I have ever had, and because of all the menthol, it will be with me for hours. Usually, when I face lather, I dab a little cream in my face like a preshave and moisten it till it starts to lather. I then take my loaded brush and complete. Today I took my wet brush right into the cream for a true face lathering experience. The 55mm loft of the Omega Bristle did a great job! Not all of my friends understand why my bathroom looks like a barber shop. This is why, so you can turn on a dime and be creative. I know my Blade Brothers and Sisters understand. Here is my pic. Today I shave for the Honorable MLK Jr.

Monday's Shower and Shave A classic hot shower with bar soap. It was the Omega 48 turn for the brush of the day, I chose Viking Shave Cream, to experiment with face lathering. It was a successful lathering on the face. I chose a Gillette Tech, with a Ladas blade. After rinsing my face I applied Thayer's Witch Hazel and Ogalla Bay Rum The judges rated this DFS a 9. Everyone have a great week.
Monday Proraso Pre/Post Cream Merkur 38C w/ Astra SP Blade (Day 4 or 5 I think, Stropped) Proraso Green Omega 10005 Boar Cold Water Rinse Regret not having the aftershave, I woke up late though, so by the time my morning PT was done, the sweat combined with my fresh close shave was making me itchy as hell. Felt perfect after my shower though and I had a chance to use some nice moisturizing soap. Not letting that happen again, 100% my bad.

Monday Imperial Shavette ½ Gillette 365 blade Vie Long Horse/Badger mix Nanny's Rasage Traditionnel hard soap Alum Old Spice Whitewater An occasional dalliance with a shavette is fun. The 365 blade is very sharp and smooth enough, while its not quite as comfortable as a real straight shave it still produces a very close shave with ease however I don't think its any closer than a real straight. I've only used a shavette about 10 times since I started shaving with a straight 18 months ago and it didn't bite me tonight, so I'll take that as a barometer that my technique has improved.
If you don't like scritch and you don't face lather often, then I'm not sure The Dridecker is the best brush for face lathering week! On another note, I got some more fresh roasted coffee this weekend. Trying a blend (TN Blend), a Sumatran, and a Panamanian. So far the blend and sumatran are excellent. I won't be opening the Panamanian until I finish the others though.
