Alright, so this morning was fun. Shaved with some Proraso Classic cream, followed up with some Aqua Velva. I then proceeded to walk outside into the zero degree air to go to work... HOLY COW!!! That was quite an experience, might wait for the A/S to wear off a bit next time. I am REALLY loving the Proraso cream though, gives great lather and great protection during the shave.
Yup, menthol in cold climates is pretty awesome. I passed on it this morning though, my thermometer said -30 C with no windchill.
I am a menthol freak and I am proud of it - I would say that on an average of 30 shaves a month, (or so) 26 are with a menthol cream or soap.
All of my soaps and creams here with me have menthol to varying degrees. I absolutely love it. Have the proraso pre/post cream as well, once I get home and get some others ordered it wouldn't surprise me if I order a vat of M-Bomb and go nuts with it.
I'm really getting into the menthol thing too. Just had my first experience with Proraso Pre-shave...that rocked! Going to use it again tomorrow and try out my new Palmolive Menthol!
I enjoy making an uberlather using Proraso and Mama Bear's Awakenings soap. Then a few drops of M-bomb in my hand along with my witch hazel for a post shave and Brrrrrrrrrrrrr.
menthol is deffinatly great when i first starting shaving i was a huge fan of it. especially proraso...that stuff really is awesome!! the pre shave cream is one of my top favourites and always will be...i have recently been worried that they will stop making it for some reason so everytime im at the drug store i find myself buying at least one more jar.... yes i have a problem lol
