I haven't used anything Trumper Sandalwood related in a long time, Amanda bought the majority of my Trumper products, but I'm not going to let the past keep me down.

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
    Razor: EJ Chatsworth
    Blade: Ladas Super Stainless
    Brush: Vie-Long Boar/Horse
Soap or Cream: Ogallala Bay Rum, Limes & Peppercorns Soap
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Ogallala BR, L&P Toner

A very nice shave. The Ogallala soap contains shea butter, if I remember correctly, and always seems to leave my face feeling good. The toner just adds to that good feeling, and I'm particularly fond of the BR, L&P scent. I doubt that the mid-19th century cowboys who rode into the town of Ogallala for some rest, relaxation, and entertainment (including a bay rum infused shave) ever had a shave as pleasant as mine this morning.

Prep: Hot shower, soak brush & razor in warm water
    Razor: Merkur HD 34C
    Blade: Merkur Super
    Cream: C&E Nomad
    Brush: Kent VS80
    Lather: face
Post: Cold water rinse & C&E Nomad AS

Only my second DE shave. Very quick; 2 passes WTG. Not the best shave, but good enough for a Friday work day. No nicks or cuts, and just a little bit of irritation on my neck. No burning though.

I really liked the C&E cream, and was suprised at how much lather I got (enough for 2 psasses) from the tiny bit I started with.

    1. Prep: Hot shower; Yardley bath bar
    2. Coffee: Locally roasted, fresh ground TN Blend w/ cream
    3. Lather: Speick cream - face lather
    4. Brush: Vulfix 2234 Super
    5. Razor: Merkur Classic (33C)
    6. Blade: Feather (3); 3 passes
    7. Post: Cold water rinse; Aqua Velva + Kiehl's Balm
Getting much better with the Merkur/Feather combo. Very little blood, no burn. I did notice the performance droppoff in the Feather from day 2 to 3. However, this blade on day 3 still outperforms other blades I've used that are fresh.

Shave Rating - Splendid. God Bless!

A few years back I bought this Muhle razor with a long hefty wooden handle. Somehow this handle and me are not made for each other, so I didn't use the razor at all. Last month I saw this virgin vintage handle at a flee market and brought it home (for 1 euro), attached it to the Muhle head and voila: another perfect razor. I never aim for the once in a lifetime shave, but sometimes it just happens... very close today.
The DVH has performed perfectly this week, but I just might take something else tomorrow.

    Proraso White ASB

Would say TGIF if it weren't for the two day class I have that starts today. :( I wanted to see how the Feather injector shaved and how the Feather blades performed. I am very pleased with the razor, it is solid! The blade on the other hand was nothing to write home about. I think it was about as rough for me as the personna blades. Needless to say I will try to stay with the Schick blades. The cream lathered like a dream! Everything was great about the shave except for the blade...which did do a decent job, just nowhere as smooth as the Schicks.

    Have a great day everyone!

I'm glad to hear it's going so well for you! On my second shave one would think I went to Sweeny Todd for a shave. LOL!

    A long hot shower.
Brush; Omega 48, Soap; Arko ( grated in a container)
Day 5 of face lathering, today was the best day. The Omega 48 is an excellent face latherer. The lather today was superb and very similar to what I would have had in a bowl.
    Razor; Gillette Fatboy
    Blade; Vikings Sword
Post: Face rinse, Thayer's Witch Hazel, Superior 70

    Today's Shave

It was time for Slanty to play, so he was selected today. I also went with my Omega Boar today. I brought out some Fraser's Polar Ice, boy can that stuff face lather, and I was off to the races.

    Vitos pre/post
    Omega 80005
    JM Frasiers Polar Ice
    Gillette 7 o'clock Black (3)
    Merkur 37 C Slanty
    Witch Hazel
    Alcalado Glacial

I have grown to love the Glacial. It was about 50 this am, and it was the perfect temp. My face felt so alive.

I have to use Frasiers more, what a beautiful lather.

I am enjoying the Vitos pre/post very much. Slanty was happy to get the call today.

It was a very nice shave.

    Friday
    Proraso Pre/Post
    Merkur 37C + Bolzano (D1, Stropped)
    Omega 10005 Boar
    Proraso White
Cold Water Rinse + Old Spice Classic A/S

Decent shave, not very impressed with the Bolzano performance though, they seem.....I don't know how do describe it for me vs feather but, perhaps cheaper and less reliable. That must be due to my face type though, I gave all my bolzanos away to a newbie and he loved them, so c'est la vie.
