It is a real beauty. I am definitely gonna pick up some Vokshods. When the EJ came I couldn't wait to use it and all they had at my corner mom and pop was Wilkinson Sword blades. They work but not too impressive, can't wait to use it with some higher quality blades.
Its hard to get a btter looking razor esp for the price, and it performs as good as it looks i do rotate my razor's but I still use the 89L more than the others, I'm sure you will enjoy it. The Astra's work fine in the 89l for me and they are quite cheap when bought in bulk, Voskhods are nice
That's a great razor, but one thing I noted (and maybe that is just me) but you need to hold the razor at a different angle when compared to some of the other standard razors out there (such as Merkur and Muhle). You might have to experiment the first few shaves!
