I have tried the yellow and black and do not like the black. Someone told me that the black do not have the same coating as the yellow. I generally do not have a problem with any blade from a yellow pack. Some I don't get as many shaves from as others. None of the blades from the black packs ever worked well for me. The were sharp but not smooth.
