Another easy-to-find cream here in Montreal, which is very decent and acceptable. Here are my observations:

Ease of lathering: 10/10--No problem working with this stuff at all.

Longevity of lather: 10/10--Stays stable and rich during each pass.

General skincare: 8/10--Moisturizes and protects the skin very well. Good glide also.

Scent: 7/10--Nothing elegant or high-end, just clean and proper.

Price: 9/10--3,50$ CDN-3,99$ CDN, so very reasonable.

Would I buy again: 8/10--I suppose, why not?

Nivea cream was reformulated a couple of years ago, and this version seems to be better than the original formulation. The lather is richer, and the skincare is definitely better. I find this version gives a very comfortable feeling to my skin which is very easily irritated. 104_1_shaving_cream_pack1_2.jpg

I agree it's a great cream, easily available here in Montreal and quite cheap.
I shaved with that this morning and got a good shave.
The scent is so so but i can live with it.

I don't believe I have seen this for sale in the US, atleast in any brick and mortar stores.

I read that it's difficult too find in the US but easily found in Canada.

I really like the shave that I get from Nivea Cream....the lather is slick and protective and it really has great skin conditioning properties. My only gripe would be the scent. While not offensive, it reminds me of hand lotion.

I agree with you - the scent is nothing to get excited about. I know 4 guys who love it, but for myself it's nothing. The performance of the cream is excellent, however.

It appears Smallflower sells the German version, not sure if it is the same as Jeff reviewed.

In addition to Smallflower, Connaught Shaving and Alpine Village Cosmetics sell Nivea shaving cream.
