Hear, Ye! Hear, Ye! Yet another theme week is upon us.

This time 'round it's 3-Piece Week. If your razor must be broken down into three pieces (or even more!) to change the blade, then it's time to break it out.

2nd shave with my Gillette Old Type. I like it very much!

 

Monday

1918 (if I recall correctly) Gillette OLD Type. Dropped in an Astra SP and had a 5-Blade shave to start the week.

 

Muhle R-41 with a fresh Voskhod.

 

Gillette Fat Handle Tech/Super Max

 

I broke out "Firebar Fred" in honor of this theme week, and will probably use him for most, if not all of the week.

 

Feather AS-D1 with Gillette 7 O'clock black (2)

 

Weber and an Astra sp.

 

As I use 3 pieces 90 percent of the time I was following the week without knowing it.

Going with a weber at the moment.

 

Out with the OLD, in with the NEW.
Yup - Gillette NEW type today, loaded with the same Astra SP. Fantastic shave.

 

Once again, but with a day 2 blade today.

 

Last nights shave three piece week and menthol mondays kinda picked my shave for me.

Ah haaa same razor choice as me, not only does it shave great its always great looking in a photo (well I think so)

Wednesday
Used the Gillette Old Style + a vintage blade that I honed and stropped in the Allegro mod L

It says: 'Best safety razor, made in Germany" No further marks. I haven't got any idea as to what brand the blade is. But the result was a DFS.
