My face feels great and it's nice to be amongst brothers and sisters of the blade again.

In honor of 3-Piece week, I used my Merkur Alu (I also have a ball end Tech, but it's handle is way to small for me, but I keep it because I love the way it looks). Decided to post a picture of the Merkur Alu, which is a 3-piece razor that is essentially a Merkur HD with a really fat aluminum handle (only slightly longer than an HD, and a bit heavier). This is a great razor when my hand is bothering me, or when I just want a change of pace.

Wednesday: Omega Wooden Handle Super Speed/7 AM day 6 Proraso White SS Svoboda AS Balsam JHL Cologne This morning, I think my skin needed some extra care, and the Proraso White soap and the Svoboda balsam turned out to be a perfect combination. I love the nice scent and rich lather that the soap gives, and although the menthol effect is milder than the green bowl version, it's still very much there. The Svoboda balsam is one of the best I ever had.

Morning Coffee: Hills Brothers Original Blend Prep: Wash face with Musgo Real Glyce Lime Razor: Schick I2 Hydro-Magic (Thanks Luke) Blade: Feather Injector (Thanks Luke) Soap: Proraso Brush: Omega 10005 Scuttle: Dirty Bird 1.5 Post: Cold water rinse followed by some Proraso After Shave The I2 and Feather Injector Blades were PIF'd by Luke (lradke). What can you say about the I2 that has not already been said, great razor. The discontinued Feather Injector Blades worked great. Reminded me of the Personna/EMS blades that I have. Good close shave but not quite as smooth as the Chinese made Schick Blades. But after my typical 3-pass shave, my face was BBS.
Wednesday: Prep:Hot Shower/Feather Preshave Savile Row 3824/RazoRock Cacao shave soap ikon OSS/Gillette 7 O'Clock Black (2) Cold water rinse Alum(clean brush,razor,police area) Cold Water rinse Lucky Tiger mixed with a pea sized amount of 444 Giving my head a rest from shaving today,but I had a great smooth shave from the ikon Black Ninja combo.The Ninja's have been performing superb in the 2 razor's I have loaded,Feather AS-D1 and the ikon.Next week Pils and Weber get the Ninja treatment.
