Thursday: Omega Wooden Handle Super Speed/new Wilkinson Sword Derbylux SC Lubriderm unscented moisturizer Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash Obsession For Men EDT I think these Wilkinson Sword blades are pretty good and smooth - I got a real nice BBS shave this morning with almost no effort. It's been quite a while since I used the Derbylux cream, and I really enjoyed it. The lather and scent are great, and it's a hell of a face-freezer. Alcolado Glacial is in a class of its own!

Thursday Razor: Merkur Futur Blade: Astra Brush: Men-U boar Soap: TSD Irish Spring style Toner: Booster June Clover A/S: Pinaud Clubman I'm giving my face a break from straights for a few days. The weather here has been vacillating between dry and humid and as a result I've developed some dry patches that get easily irritated when I shave them with a straight. The Futur/Astra combination did a fine job with my face. The Booster June Clover helped moisturize my face and the Clubman finish was as wonderful as ever.

I covet your brush - I have the 10066 and really like it, but the handle shape isn't quite right for me. The 10005 looks like the ticket!
Thursday Prep:Hot Shower(soak brush in cup, Semogue 620) Proraso PrePost cream TOB Avocado shaving cream Feather AS-D1/Gillette 7 O'Clock Black (4) face & head shave Cold water rinse Alum(clean brush,razor,police area) Cold water rinse Osage Rub mixed with a pea sized amount of 444 I usually change blades after 3 uses but I did a headshave the other day with the Feather.Got BBS all around,I'm pleasantly surprised with the Gillette Black especially with the Feather,I probably could get another shave out of it but I dont want to push my luck.

Neither have I! It's the only brush I own! Really though, it is a great brush. Been using it for 2ish years now.
I think about all the money I've spent on nice badger brushes for the past 10-years. Heck, I could have 15 of the Omega 10005 brushes setting on the shelf and have less money invested than I do in just two of my badgers. Now that's a thought, stock up on brushes before the price on pig goes up.
