DVH have three boar brushes: The first one is an 'originele kapperskwast', which you might translate as 'original barber's brush'. All three cost just over 10 euros including p&p in The Netherlands. I have no experience yet with'em, but next week I'm expecting an old one from the late father of a friend (she says she thinks it is useless for painting ). Oh, and next month is PIF-month... There's an idea brewing here

Saturday Edwin Jagger DE8911 Barley (try out) Derby day 1 Vulfix best badger travel brush Proraso soap TSD Iced Eucalyptus WH Floid blue splash (try out) The first take on the Jagger. A very well built razor, smooth but efficient. Three passes + a little touch up resulting in a very DFS. Now I understand why so many people recommend this razor for newbies, you can't go wrong with this one. Only down side might be that you can't go wrong with this one...it's not very challenging. But for a quick shave without hassle this is the perfect razor. It was also the first time for the Floid blue, very nice splash (sorry Johnny, I'm going to keep it ).
