Of all the soaps I've tried, Mama Bear's is my favorite. The best all-around performance. I have about 10 soaps, 3 of which are MB's, and I always get excited when they come up in the rotation. I like them so much I've been meaning to put back a little cash and stock up on about 30 or more pucks in case, God forbid, Sue ever goes out of business. Maybe an order like that would help her not to.
I bought two recently. Great soap and nice scents! Nice that they come in the little bowls - makes it easy to rotate without having to buy more dishes!
I have used the Lime Oil shave stick. I like it enough to try others. While it's not as good as Arko or Speick, it is very good for a melt and pour.
I have tried quite a few Mama Bear soaps, and most of them are indeed very good. However - I don't say this because I am so devoted to TSD, but I still prefer JoAnna's TSD soaps. I find them to be more pleasantly and reasonably-scented, instead of the more heavily-scented soaps which Sue produces. JoAnna tries to include a maximum of skincare in her soaps along with great lather and scents.
I received a puck of MB Ye Olde Barbershoppe in a PIF. I had my second shave with it today. It easily generates an excellent lather and has a very nice scent. I have only used a couple of glycerin based soaps and was impressed. It was not as good as my Stirling soaps, but good none the less.
I like them. I've been through a puck of Spicey Lime and one of Frankincense and Myrhh. I haven't used a melt-and-pour soap in quite some time, though. Maybe I should remedy that with a new puck of Mama Bear's or one of the TSD soaps.
I was shocked at how heavily-mentholated the Awakenings soap is. An icy blast which hits like a ton of bricks. I LOVE it!
*gasp!* It's a little something Mama and I put together for another board, but it proved popular enough that she made it one of her regular items. The scent is lime-cilantro and there's a menthol version and a non-menthol version. Both were well-liked over at that other board.
lolllllllll You see how many soaps I still have to learn about? I just checked out both versions at Sue's website.
Well, in fairness to you, Czar's Choice is domestic (well, for me anyhow) and easily obtainable, so I can understand you not knowing about it given your other acquisitions.
