Saturday morning 2-25-2012 prep - hot shower razor - Y3 SuperSpeed blade - Voskhod (1) brush - pure badger soap - VDH unscented post - cold water rinse + Gillette sensitive skin AS balm first run with a Voskhod, first run with the VDH soap, first time I actually giggled while I was shaving and I think I actually said WOW while I was lathering the soap, holy crap! I think I had enough lather for a week LOL. 4 pass WWXA, no touch ups, 1 weeper, face is a tad dry, but smooth with very minor fine sandpaper patches What a fun shave to start the weekend off! Saturday: Omega Wooden Handle Super Speed/Wilkinson Sword day 5 Figaro SC Rise Baby Face AS Balsam Obsession For Men EDT Smoother than silk, looking gorgeous, (just kidding!) smelling great, and ready to go - my first shave with the Figaro cream, and I love it. What a beautiful barbershoppy scent, and so much rich lather with good skincare. The Rise aftershave balsam is also pretty darn good. I want to get some more Wilkinson Sword blades, because I'm impressed with them. Sorry for not showing any photos.

Gillette slim adj on 9 Ever ready boar Wilkinson blade on its 5 th shave VDH soap Clubman VI Bay Rum a/s Impressively, the Wilki blade is still yielding a smooth shave. 3 passes and a DFS. VIBR smells great on a cool morning.

Saturday Hot Shower (soak brush,Savile Row 3824) Proraso PrePost cream TSD Malachite Shave Soap Pils 101NE/Voskhod (1) Cold Water Rinse Monster Block Alum (clean brush,razor,police area) Cold Water Rinse Caswell-Massey Number Six aftershave mixed with a pea sized amount of 444 Well I got my shipment of Voskhods and TSD Malachite yesterday,which was good timing.I needed a change of blade in my Pils.First I have to say I was very impressed with TSD shave soap,a nice and clean scent and a good slick lather.My first face pass with the Voskhod was tugging a lil bit and felt a lil rough.I decided to do my headshave before I did another pass on my face.That worked out better I got a BBS with 1 ATG pass.I did my second WTG pass on my face and neck and low and behold,the Voskhod smoothed out really well.It felt like a Gillette 7 O'Clock Black,it was that smooth and stayed that way for my third and final ATG pass.Nothing hones a blade better than head hairs ,it'll either make it or break it.

R-41 Voskhod (3) Williams Mug Soap Semogue 2000 Alum AV Ice Blue Classic A very nice shave today. Unfortunately, my Semogue 2000 is on its way out. It has been losing a couple hairs each shave, but dropped close to 20 hairs this morning. Hopefully it is just a phase and not developing male pattern baldness. AV normally turns my stomach, but for some reason I reached for it and used a healthy splash and I didnt feel like puking.

Haven't even looked at my modern DE's since I started playing with my flare tip. I think some more must be eBayed because I can. Loving the Simpsons brush too, will need to get another one of those - hopefully I get my tax refund before Johnny sells his Duke.

Saturday's Shower and Shave Hot shower with a bar of Razorock Ginseng. Next in the brush line-up today was LuJin Badger lathered up the "Theme Week" soap MWF. Decided to stay with the heavy hitter Fatboy with a fresh Voshkod blade. I was daring enough to crank up the dial to #8. The Fatboy has a type A personality, it can be made made friendly. The more I shave with the Fatboy, the shaves have become better. Today's shave at #8 was a home run. After rounding the bases I splashed polar water, followed with Thayer's Witch-hazel. After it dried a nice soothing facial rub with Proraso. To complete with finishing mist of English Leather. The :wave:were over enthusiastic with the DFS, this morning rated a 10+++++++ Everyone have a great weekend!!

Today I grabbed the closest soap/cream and it happened to be the TOBS. This was the first time with Jermyn St. And first time using TOBS. It was really nice. The scent was great and I ended up with enough lather to get me into next week. Have a great week end everyone

Cold Water Rag Svoboda Vitamin F ASC Avon Tai Winds Cologne Super Easy Two Pass DFS! The 7 O'c Yellow is a decent blade, reminds me of the Sharp's that TSD sells. The DVHEF... WOW! Whatta soap! I am not super crazy about the scent, but WOW! This is one superbly performing soap and at $4.00 is easily worth three times the price! The DVHEF is so easy to lather, very slick, and provides excellent cushion! I broke away from MWF week to try it out because I have seen so many postings touting its performance, and I can definitely agree! Have a great weekend Ya'll!
