Sunday! Prep: hot water rinse, hot washing cloth Music: Vangelis, Blade Runner Esper edition OST Brush: DVH boar Cream: TSD Wheat Cream, oak leaves & acorns, bowl lathered this time Razor: Rrrrollllsss Shave: 3-pass shave + touch-up Post: hot water rinse, cold water rinse, TSD Witch Hazel Cedarwood Nice DFS. The wheat cream lathered up nice & slick. I wanted a warm lather today, so I bowl lathered in my Tabac mug. It is a wee bit small, but performs nicely. And now with the cream and witch hazel combination I've got the smell of wood all around me. Nice! Have a nice Sunday!
Sunday26th February Hot shower and Facial Scrub Proraso preshave cream Gold Dollar 208 Razor Simpson B5 Pure Badger Mitchell's Wool Fat Soap Alum Block and Real Shaving ASB Lucky Tiger AS Last day of the MWF week, and this time I used the Simpson B5 brush.to good effect. The brush was bought during the time Babylon5 was showing on TV....hence the designation! If I was doing it again....I would probably go for the B3....a much more sensible size.....but B3 at the time just didn't have the same ring to it! A DFS+ shave today. Off to bed now for a few hours sleep.....I am working tonight.
Sunday, February 26 Gem Push Button GEM (SS PTFE ) (d3) L'Occitane Cade Tweezerman Clubman Great shave.

Sunday 2-26-2012 tunage - The Specials, The Singles Collection Y3 SuperSpeed w/ Voskhod (2) Kent Boar VDH unscented Gillette sensitive skin AS cream I wasn't planning on shaving today, but I woke up early and as I had my coffee perusing this thread the desire grew and I gave in. Same setup as yesterday except for the brush. I was so amazed by the ease of lathering and the quality & quantity of lather I got from the VDH with my 'lil badger, I wanted to compare with the boar. Without getting into too many details, I will never lather soap with the Kent boar again, ever. I managed a DFS though, chased the baby a little bit so my neck is a little red, but all in all still a DFS.
Sunday 26 Feb . Travelling again Grodrej Menthol Mist SC Omega Boar Travel brush, face lather EJ89 w/ Gillette yellow Booster Polar Ice and Nivea Cool Kick ASB A quick two pass shave for the morning. Nice and Cool shave though. My work schedule has gotten the best of me for the last couple of weeks and I haven't had much time. Sorry. We lost a couple of people and now have a headcount freeze along with a reorganization. So its been busy. I hope to do better posting in the future.
Sunday, February 26, 2012. Good Morning! Morning Coffee: Hills Brothers Original Blend Prep: Wash face with Musgo Real Glyce Lime Razor: Schick G1 Blade: Schick Soap: MWF Brush: Semogue 1305 Scuttle: Dirty Bird 1.5 Post: Cold water rinse followed by some Floid Blue
R-41 w/ Voskhod (4) Klar Kabinett Semogue 2000 Superior 70 Bay Rum Another excellent shave with the R41. The blade did start to head south at the end of the shave and was dropped in the bin. After losing 20+ hairs yesterday, the 2000 didn't drop a single bristle today. I am not sure what is going on with that brush, but hope it hangs in there as it is a favorite.
Sunday Prep: Hot Shower face wash with Everyman Jack face scrub Pacific Shave Pre-shave oil Razor:Gillette Ball handle Tech open comb Blade:Crystal PC (2) Soap/Cream: TSD Cedarwood soap Brush: Ever-Ready 100 with TGN Finest Badger Post: Cold Water rinse and RR Alum AS: Mama Bears Winter Aftershave Balm Results good shave with a little burn. The first two uses of the open comb razor causes a little burn and a couple of weepers. I had no problem lathering the MWF on Friday and Saturday but can't seem to get a good lather from the TSD soap. It has to be something I'm doing wrong but I just haven't figured out what it is.
Sunday: An "Inspiration Shave"! Omega Wooden Handle Dovo Bismarck 5/8 Karo Fresh SC Lubriderm unscented moisturizer Brut AS Brut Cologne Thanks to my dear friend Dmitry who inspired me so much, I was able to gather up the courage to use my Dovo Bismarck after not using it for more than a year, and I managed to get a very, very nice and enjoyable almost BBS shave with it. I did 2 WTG passes on both cheeks and a very light ATG pass along my neck. I guess I haven't lost my touch after all! I wish I had used a better cream, because although the Karo Fresh stuff lathers very well and richly, it really is junk. It has a soapy, but cheap scent to it, and although menthol is listed as an ingredient, you cannot really feel any. To be honest, I grabbed the first tube in front of me, so it happened to be this one. I'm still so happy that I was able to enjoy a nice, relaxing Sunday shave!
Razor:Futur Blade: Polsilver Brush: Semogue LE badger 2008-9 Soap or Cream: LaToja A/S: Tet-a-Tet It is 46 F in the Low Country SC today and we set a record of 86F for a high on Friday. Go figure or go shiver at least for us in the South....wimps, I know.
Sunday: Barbasol Prep Dovo Natural Omega Pro Boar 20248 Cella Alum Block Witch Hazel Afta Fresh Balm British Sterling Cologne Man the Omega Pro boar brushes and Cella go together like peas and carrots! It puts my other Omega brushes to shame. This combo will definately be seeing more love.

Jeff, I got a chuckle out of the Karo mention which is a corn sweetner used for pancakes and pecan pies around here. It would be a bit sticky to shave with and the bees would love you.....I know you meant Kapo but it does bring a funny picture to the mind's eye.
Sunday morning, February 26, 2012 Schick E2 Injector Razor w/ Schick blade (6) Omega 10066 boar bristle brush, MWF shaving soap w/ warm water lather, finish w/ cold water rinse for a DFS! Another great shave with the Schick E2!
