I tried the cream and like the performance, but I am not a cream guy, and I didn't care for the scent. The stick has a slightly different scent, which I prefer. I also prefer a stick over a puck because I prefer to face lather. If Speick was available in a puck I probably would choose the stick. Be it a stick or puck, I think Speick is one of the best soaps ever made!
Oh, okay, this makes perfect sense. Now I understand exactly what you mean. I don't face lather so that is why I turned my stick into a puck. And I agree, it is one of the best soaps ever made.
I am going to have to buy a veggy grater and use it on my Speick stciks - because I have about 4, and I doubt I will ever use them. Now, in a dish, that would get used more often!!
If you haven't got a grater of any sort you can also just chop it up in to smallish chunks with a knife, dampen them a bit and press it all in to your bowl. I can't see why Speick don't offer it in puck form for bowl latherers. I'm the opposite, I turn everything in puck form to sticks.
I just found my spiek stick last night trying to find my arko stick. I haven't used the spiek in awhile. The last couple of times I used it, I think it was a bit drying to my face, so I stopped for awhile. After reading these posts I will have to go back and give it another try. Oh, I found the arko in my ditty bag after searching the house for an hour. Too late to change out sticks though, already packed.
