How much fits in a small rate box PIF (Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock PIF) *DONE*

Is there a losers bracket or is this "one & done"?

 

For now, it is a single elimination tournament. I don't want a situation where there isn't time to finish the tournament this month or to be overwhelmed keeping track of everything. However, if there isn't too high of a turn out, I might go double elimination.

Tomorrow I will randomize the list and set up the brackets. Once the first round begins (there may be byes) PM me with the match number and the three moves before the round's time window closes. The best total score will advance. In the event that there is a tie, the first win will advance. If in the three attempts it is a complete tie with no wins, then random will decide.

Here we go... round 1 - there are only two players in this round. You have 24 hours.
DLP & Battle.munky. You have 24 hours for your first round entry.

PM me with three hands in the order you want them played.


For example:

Player A may send: Rock, Spock, Spock
Player B may send: Scissors, Lizard, Paper

Rock crushes scissors (win for A)
Lizard poisons Spock (win for B)
Paper disproves Spock (win for B)

B wins

Again, in the case of a tie, I will go with the first win.

If you actually completely tie, in other words choose the same thing three times in a row, then random will choose the winner.

As I understand only DLP and Battle.monkey are in the first round is this correct

 

yes, the first round is just the two of them. Next round will have 16 of you competing.

Update - both DLP and battle.munky responded to a PM I sent them to let them know this was on. However, because I PM'd both of them at the same time to let them know the round had begun, their responses went out to both of them it as well. When I PM you about a round being live, please don't respond to that PM. If you do, others will see your choice and you will tip your "hand" to your opponent. In the future I will try to remember to lock the start of round PM so that you can't accidentally respond to everyone.
