Goodbye Ruby Two-Shave... OK, it's more of a one shave blade for me, but the pun wouldn't work otherwise. Needless to say I don't find the Gillette Ruby blades very sharp. I would not consider beard cutting their strong suit. Though I did get a nick-free shave and it's a DFS though with a level of tugging I would expect an average blade to yield on the fifth shave. This shave was better than the first attempt a few months ago where I just switched out before the shave was even completed. I might finish the pack, but it'll be a one shot and toss it option. Brush: Semogue 830 banded boar Razor: E.J. DE89L Blade: Gillette Ruby, 1/1 Soap: Cella Toner: Thayer's Rose WH Finish: Gillette Cool Wave AS and a touch of Prep post-pre cream Happy Shaving!
Hmmm... never had that problem with the M Bomb, and I've tried it in quite a few things, to include ASBs.

Sorry, I missed this earlier. So, I looked up the ingredient list for the Nivea; Water, Alcohol Denat., Propylene Glycol, Taurine, Tocopheryl Acetate, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Fragrance. from CVS.com I don't really know, but "Taurine" is the only thing that I suspect would cause this issue. I know the other ingredients quite well. They shouldn't cause this problem. Taurine, though? I have never seen it in an ingredient list and had to Google it. I can't say it is the problem 100%, but it is the most likely culprit.

One Heckuva Shave My shave this morning was one of the best. Having pairded down my collection, every product I select is a guaranteed winner, time tested by me. Thursday 8 March TSD 2XIced Tea Tree Soap Simpsons Berkley 46, face lather GEM Micromatic, GEM Stainless SE TSD Iced SubZero splash, and Proraso ASB This was a three pass DFS, the blade tugged something fierce on the last pass so I pitched it after that. Kind of surprised that it would tug after only three uses, but thats how it goes. Smooth and cool. I prefer the iced sub zero soap scent, but the tree really leaves the face feeling good. A very nice smooth and cool shave. I used Steve's lathering method again. Its definitely a winner for me, thanks. Have a great day.

I have just taken delivery of some daily disposable contact lenses. Normally the first few strokes of my straight shaves have been done 'blind'....so to speak. I always had to remove my glasses as the legs were in the way. Today I was actually able to see what I was doing! A DFS+ with 3 passes
Thursday: Omega Wooden Handle Super Speed/Shark day 6 Lord Emofresh SC Diana Sport Menthol Balsam Obsession For Men EDT Smoother than smooth, smelling great, and ready for another work day - I lathered the Lord Emofresh cream in a bowl this morning and the results were great. The menthol effect is not that strong, but it's still there. The Diana Sport balsam is so strongly mentholated that it can make your nose run, and it can also make your eyes tear. I LOVE it!

I used the combo today no problem but I only used one drop. I will bump up to 2 gtts tomorrow and see if I have the same problem. I have used M-Bomb in a lot of different products with no problems. Which is why yesterday was so weird but who knows it may have just been me. We'll know tomorrow! Thanks JoAnna Best, Jesse
