this is dovo shavette from soligen germany , nice nylon scale/handle and looks modern and its modular , you can have black sleeve carrier and green,red this one came with red insert as standard with black carrier which i dont have it with me takes long blade to emulate the straight razor i also have the steel one whiches slightly heavier than this. one not all barbers use that but otherwise its a great product.
How close to the feel of a "regular" straight razor does this seem? I have some interest in trying one because I enjoyed using a straight razor. What I did not enjoy was the stroping and trying to sharpen a real straight.
