Lately I feel so restless on a Sunday evening, so I want to post the first shave for the new week! Menthol Monday: Omega Wooden Handle Super Speed/Shark day 6 Bozzano Sensitive SC Barbon AS Obsession For Men EDT These Shark blades give awesome shaves with little or no effort, and the Brazilian Bozzano Sensitive cream has such a rich lather. I love the strong minty/eucalyptus scent that this cream has and the potent menthol cooling. The Barbon aftershave has perfect skincare and a fabulous cooling effect as well.
A good Monday morning to all of you from wonderfully sunny Singapore. I kick this week's SoS with the following shave: Edwin Jagger hydrating pre-shave lotion Calani Cadre Noir shave soap Mühle Basic Nr. 02 shave brush with Silver Tip Fibre '60s British Gillette Flare Tip Rocket Feather (new) D.R. Harris Bay Rum after shave The EJ pre-shave lotion was a sample I've been sent and I thought today was a good day to try it out. I have to say, it was a good choice for Menthol Monday, as this pre-shave is loaded with Menthol steroids... Talk about dipping your face into a bucket of ice-cold water taken from a lake in northern Finland (or similar) after hacking a hole into the ice... This particular puck of Cadre Noir shave soap has finally been lathered up for the last time, nothing's left. A fresh puck of Calani Purissima is locked and loaded for tomorrow.. Wishing all of you a fantastic week ahead!
I merged the two SOS threads that were started for this week, since Jeff's (Crackstar) was posted 7 minutes earlier, I used his for the starting post. Thanks to both Jeff's for starting the thread.
Thanks, Bill, makes sense to have it all lined up properly. Apololgies for causing the extra work, I kept a lookout for Jeff's post, knowing that he rarely gets an early Sunday night , I think we must have started our respective threads simultaniously. Happy shaving everyone!

Monday 9th April Facial scrub 3P Pre/post shave cream Gold Dollar 208 6/8 razor Semogue 1250 Brush Vitos Green Soap Alum Block followed by 3P Pre/Post shave cream Aqua Velva AS Some time back Nic (Jeltz) honed this razor for me. I have used it several times now, and as yet I have not required pasted strops to maintain the edge. To me this says 2 things. 1) Nic did a really good job, and 2) The Gold Dollar has pretty good steel. Today's shave was an absolute delight. Three pass BBS

Monday: Soak Brush/Savile Row 3824 Hot Shower Proraso PrePost cream TSD ISZ shave soap Muhle R41 Grande/Derby (1) Cold Water Rinse Monster Block Alum (clean razor, brush, police area) Cold Water Rinse alcolado Glacial mixed with a pea sized amount of 444 I had a very nice shave with the R41 and Derby combo.Today I did a 2 pass,WTG,ATG on my face,I did get one minor weeper on my neck that closed during my rinse with sink water.I have to say the Derby worked better in the R41 for me than the Feather did, making me think that either my face just likes the Derby better in the R41,or I had a bad Feather.I've had a bad Feather Pro blade once,it had a blunt edge,so it's not impossible that a bad DE sneaked by QC.

Monday! 4 days of growth Hot shower + Noxema Orig Deep Cleansing Cream Proraso Anti-irritation Pre-Shave Proraso Green Soap, face lathered Vulfix 404 "The Grosvenor" boar/badger mix 3 pass w/ '73 SS Black Handle + Voskhod (1) Cold Water Rinse Gillette Sensitive Skin AS Balm Ya know, I ruined this shave with that Gillette balm garbage. I don't know how it fell off my shelf and into my hand, and got onto my face, ugh. Other than that, it was a fantastic DFS! The SS/Voskhod took down about 90% in the first pass, the last two were just for fun and touch-up.
Vulfix 41 - MWF - Rolls - ToBS Eton Had moose brush out for a pic a while ago so I've been using it. Not a bad brush, just to much brush.
