Time for a new week, time for new shaves. Bonus points for pictures, which I won't get today... I'll kick it off with my Monday ritual: Logona Mann shave cream *Premiere* Mühle Basic Nr. 02 shave brush with Silver Tip Fibre Schick M1 Injector Adjustable Personna PFTE-coated Injector blade (new) *Premiere* Speick Men after shave As I hadn’t used a shave cream in ages, as my preference goes towards the shave soaps, I didn’t know what to expect from this one and was pleasantly surprised. The cream lathers up nicely, producing a good solid lather which doesn’t dry out in a hurry and which provided a nice & slick base for the shave. The coated Personna Injector blade did a good job in the adjustable M1 which was set to 3. Very DFS in 2 passes, am extremely pleased with myself (this being only the 2nd shave with the Injector, the first one having resulted in less than DFS and my skin feeling a bit sore to the touch along the jawline..) Overall an excellent shave today, I think I will continue with the same shave cream and the same razor for most of the week, exception being Wednesday and Friday when I will be shaving at the gym. Thanks to the recommendation from Jeff I broke out the Menthol LEA cream for the first time, and I was not disappointed. A very good refreshing cream Two pass with touchup BBS. Certainly a wakeup call, and a great start to my week.

Menthol Monday: Omega Wooden Handle Super Speed/Rapira day 2 Lea Menthol SC Lubriderm unscented moisturizer Barbon AS I see my good friend Brian also used the Lea Menthol cream, and that he agrees with me on it being a great choice. Guys, I think this cream may have passed a little bit in front of the Noxzema for being my favorite. (is that possible?) The scent drives me crazy, the lather is so rich and luxurious, and the menthol is so cooling. After such a terrific shave, the Barbon added to the menthol fun!
Menthol Monday: Soak Brush/ Semogue SOC Boar Bristle Hot Shower Proraso PrePost cream DB Original Scuttle TSD ISZ shave soap Cobra Classic/ Kai Captain Mild (1) Cold Water Rinse Monster Block Alum (clean hardware,software,police area,chase cat) Cold Water Rinse TSD ISZ splash followed 30 minutes later with TSD ISZ aftershave milk After yesterday's shave my face was still DFS but I went ahead and shaved anyways.WOW the feedback on the Cobra is unreal, this thing was mowing down whiskers I couldn't feel with my hands.Plus it was a pretty smooth shave as well,I did a 2 pass,WTG, ATG on my face.My dome had 2 days growth,I did my usual ATG pass,again feedback was pretty loud it was like the whiskers were saying "Run away, Gojira,Gojira !!!" Well I'm impressed,the Cobra Classic is a great razor,is it the best? No,razors and blades I feel are in the YMMV category,but I feel it will give most experienced shavers a great shave.

Monday 23 April, Menthol Monday Proraso preshave cream Palmolive Italian Cream (Menthol) Omega boar travel brush, face lather EJ89, w/ Gillette 7O'Clock Super platinum (black) Alcolado Glacial, and Arko cool ASB Finished up the job, and I'm sitting in a hotel near the Chicago airport waiting for my flight. Had a great, unrushed shave this morning. No deadlines, no schedule, just have to be at the airport in about 4 hours for a flight home. Three passes, plus one touch-up on the jawline, gave me a smooth and cool DFS++. Just missed it again, but I don't want to rip up the face either. I ditched the blade after 8 shaves, it was starting to drag a bit. The menthol palmolive if fantastic, love the smell, nice and chilly. Almost forgot, took two pictures today. This hotel is not as fancy as the other one, just plastic cups today. I just realized I didn't put the palmolive tube in the picture, bummer. Maybe next time. A good start, have a great day.

Brian, I knew you'd enjoy the Lea Menthol cream. It's so brilliant and so nice-smelling. Not only that, the post-shave feeling is wonderful - my skin feels so cool and comfortable that I don't seem to need any moisturizer, although I'm in the habit of using some anyway.
