Unusual Gillette TTO travel razor ('40s Super Speed)

    I saw this on eBay. It's a Gillette Made In USA TTO travel razor. It has no date code. I haven't seen another like it. It looks like a '40s Super Speed.

    The seller's description says: "Unusual 2 1/2" brass and copper Gillette safety razor Made in U.S.A. with no date code on the underside. You unscrew the bottom of the handle and then push the extension upwards to open the top of the razor for blade replacement."

    Cool razor...and thats a 'sweet' travel case aswell...

    Sounds to me like the TTO mech, well the spring anyway, needs looking at.

    Good call Jody but an easy one for you. But I must admit the Milady in nice shape and especially with the right case is getting hard to find. When you see one, grab it. Here's the Milady with the matching Milord.
