Another recent (arrived yesterday) acquisition... 1953 NOS British Gillette Coronation No. 45 Tech set. Head pieces still wrapped in cellophane. Crown logo on the outer case lid, which was done only in 1953 to mark Queen Elizabeth's coronation as Queen of England. It will go nicely in my collection with the 1953 British Gillette Coronation No. 58 I already have.
The British Gillettes until the late 1950's were, in my opinion, much higher quality than their American cousins as a whole. This is just another example of the attention to detail and quality craftsmanship that was provided to that market. Enjoy!
Interesting the comparison... Great Britain came out with a Razor... Canada put her on the backside of their Beaver coin. Wonder?
