Was in trip (3 weeks the shaves we the same): Merkur travel Muhle travel best badger brush in nickel Red Line SC/Palmolive shaving stick (alternating days) Cold water splash Everest AS balm/w cologne Back home and right to the cold water Menthol Monday! Merkur 23C/Astra Vie-Long horsehair brush Ceramic bowl Gada Cool Mint SC Mayor Energy Platinum AS splash The cream is drying so I have to use the bowl to lather it as it squeezes as half-hard mass that drops down from the brush. But in the bowl it still shines! Great cream from a great friend of me! VERY COLD but a pleasant shave. It is +13C outside so if feels very... awakening

OCD. I read and study things way more than I should before jumping in, and then I'm just careful as hell when I do. I won't lie, I had a couple of moments with my coticule that made me shake my head at myself, and it's more touch-up honing right now. I'm not NEAR the skill level of Jamie or Glen, but I have the patience and desire to get that good.

Monday 14 May This was a morning shave, but its my first chance to post today since I had drive to upstate NY. Mem shave cream Simpsons Berkley 46, face lather Gem Micromatic, Gem SS blade Alcolado Glacial splash, and proraso ASB. A nice quick two pass shave before hitting the road, DFS. I'm really enjoying the Mem cream, nothing fancy, but very good skincare and glide. I decided to take it with me on this weeks trip. Have a great day.

I really like them. The after shave seems to last longer than the old formula and to me the new cream and soap are a little slicker than the old formula.

Tuesday 15 May Mem shave cream Omega boar travel brush, face lather EJ89, with Gillette 7O'Clock Super Platinum (blue) blade. Visal after shave gel (chilly). This was a quick three pass shave, DFS+. The super platinum blue was very smooth. I purchased the visal gel awhile ago and decided to pull it out for this trip. Very chilly, I wanted to see how it would go without the splash. Tomorrow I will try it with the Alcolado Glacial. Lets see how it works today. Have a great day.
