I'm really freaked out over my new Turkish horsehair brush - it does such a good job of driving the lather into my face and neck. The Gillette Menthol cream and Barbon aftershave felt so icy and nice this morning. I doubt that even a professional barber could have given me a better shave than this!

 

A new brush?! What happened with your trusty Omega brush, Jeff? Congratulations with that nice addition to your rotation!

First off this is a beautiful razor with some heft to it,as such only a light touch is needed.I had read that this was a medium aggressive razor and I concur.It's not as aggressive as the Fatip's,Joris 1912T,or the R41.To me it's very close to the OCMM,but that's just my take,I dont find the OCMM to be super aggressive,others do.I did a 3 pass WTG,WTG,ATG on my face,and my usual 1 pass ATG on my head.The shave was very smooth and close,with my beard I prolly could have just done a 2 pass and still get BBS.I got no razor burn or iritation and when I applied the Monster Block Alum I felt no sting at all.All in all I feel Tradere did a great job with this razor and it's well worth considering if you're in the market for a all stainless OC Made in the USA razor.

First time with both the TSD Wheat Cream and Florida Water. When I first whipped up the lather, I was concerned about how well it would protect based on how it felt in my hand, but had zero problems during the shave. I had to try out the Florida Water because it smells AMAZING. Can't claim it's the best on the skin care side, so won't be using it daily, but I'll work it in for the scent.

My face seems to be a bit dry these days, it must be the hi temp. durung the day and the cold temp. in the night. In any case I thing I will be reverting back to the MWF and Proraso ASB combo, as the Mandom just couldn't really cut it this morning. The shave was alright, lather was a bit thin, but that was my fault, other than that it was a nice DFS.

Simple 2 pass WTG shave resulting in a DFS

First use of the Vie-Long 13052m brush. Nice and soft. I'll see how I like it after a few shaves.

Very nice shave today. I have to admit, I'm enjoying the Lucky Tiger. It's not the type of soap/cream I'd normally buy but I've been getting some very nice shaves with it.

A lazy start to the day linger over a cup of tea and breakfast before heading to the shower.
Daily start to my shave ritual, facial wash with Proraso glycerin.
Decided to break with MWF Tuesday tradition, chose RazoRock Mughetto di Bologna
LuJin Badger stepped up for lathering today.

Razor choice Gem Junior, the one razor that always challenges me. Today I won the challenge with three passes and a few touchups
Closing out a DFS with RazoRock alum, and Proraso balm.
