1. Cold water shave week going on and on. Yesterday I had to use a kettle to warm up some water, because Gada refused to lather properly. Warm lather- cold water combo feels... interesting.

  6. Great band! Also listened to some Dropkick Murpheys today as Pogues put me in a hard driving Irish music kind of mood.
  7. Wed. night:
    EJ D86 w/ Voskhod
    Knotty Erlenmeyer Silvertip
TSD Bergamot Wheat Soft Soap Cream
    Alum
Liquid Candy Cane Snowflakes (the old bottle says TSD Iced Peppermint)

First shave with a Voskhod and I am impressed so far. During the WTG pass, it was so smooth and quite it was like I didn't put a blade in the razor.
This was the 3rd shave with TSD Wheat Cream and it is certainly impressive. It does have one strange aspect in that the lather doesn't have as much body as other products that perform at a top level.
    Most important - BBS!

  8. Good morning, everyone!

Am loving it! I was initially thinking of the one in aluminium as well but was afraid the alu would be beaten up and dented much faster, it being a softer materiel. Plus, I love nickel-plated shaving hardware, i just looks good i find. And the Silver Tip Fibre is just right for me, I use it on the travel shave brush as well as on the main shave brush at home.

Last night, I caught up on sleep, which was good. In fact a bit too much, which wasn’t good. Hence, the shave had to be a quick one. As I was in no mood to rush my Feather AS, today’s shave was a cartridge one:

Martin de Candre ‘Savon de Marseille’ face wash
    Calani Purissima shave soap
Mühle Basic Nr. 02 shave brush with Silver Tip Fibre
Gillette Sensor Excel II (3rd shave)
    Speick Men after shave

Wishing all of you a wonderful Thursday!

    Obsession for Men EDT

Apparently there has been some controversy with this newest version of Erasmic soap because guys in the UK claim that it is very difficult to get good lather from it, but as far as I'm concerned it's a pleasure to work with. It has the same nice, traditional barbershop scent that the original version has, and it leaves the skin feeling very smooth and clean. The Polar Ice aftershave is a top favorite of mine! ;) :D

Only needed a 2 pass face,1 pass headshave today and the Cobra did a great job,BBS all around with no touch ups needed. So far the Kai Captain Mild Blade is still going strong,I wish I knew about these when I was shaving with the Feather Artist.

  15. Thursday 17 May

Same routine as the past couple of days, but I'm going home today.

    Mem Olive SC
Omega Boar travel brush, face lather
EJ89, with Gillette 7O'Clock Super Platinum blue blade
Alcolado Glacial splash, with visal AS gel

A very nice three pass, DFS+ today. I got up late, took my time and had a very enjoyable shave. I have shaved all week using the Mem, and I like it allot. Easy to lather, nice glide, not much of a detectable scent, very good skincare. Wish it was in a smaller tube for travelling, but you can't have everything. I just purchased 100 of Gillette 7O'Clock super platinum blues and I have been comparing them with the blacks. The first couple of times I preffered the blacks, but now I am not so sure. I think the blue's are a bit smoother, I have been getting consistently better shaves, but thats just my opinion.

Now to get a real good cup of coffee and drive home.

Have a great day, I plan on it.
