I turned this emerald handle this afternoon. This one is fairly big and meaty, nice feel to it. 30mm by 77mm long handle. Needs some polishing but is pretty much good to go. I'm going to order a couple more colors.

Bluesbishop, I used a lathe. If you do a search, there's a "how to".

Every time I see someone turn their own handles I think I really need a inexpensive lathe. I want to try my hand at brush making. BTW Oscar nice looking handle.

I'll be turning a few more handles in the near future. I ordered some more turning stock that should arrive early next week or possibly today. The lathe is a good hobby. I got into it to make my own coyote calls and it just expanded from there. I'm (was) an avid hunter but my my job just doesn't give me time any more. Unfortunately, I'm one of the 24/7/365 crowd now.
