    Barbasol menthol can-o-goo
Pal non-adjustable injector with unknown blade
a/s: Prestone followed up by Osage Rub (loaded up on menthol because right after the shave, I walked 1/2 mile to the post office and it was already over 90 out...the menth made it an enjoyable hike).

Result: Hadn't used an injector for several months so result was near BBS but with a few fair nicks. However, soaking in my cool tub full of very hard water always closes 'em up quick.

    Razor: Merkur 34c
    Blade: Astra SP
Post: Nivea Cool Kick Arctic Freeze

I chased the baby and caught the little bugger! I honestly don't know why I don't use Arko more often. It's just so basic it's perfect. A good solid performer with a clean scent. Also that post shave balm I used is terrific, a lot like the Nivea A/S balm but it has a kick of menthol. Always leaves me feeling fresh.

Moved the Feather blade to Merkur 23C. Much better experience!

Gada Cool Mint SC (Thank you very much, Jeff, I can finally finish the tube, as I've got another one from you!!)
    Mayor Energy Platinum AS splash.
Gada Cool Mint is a great cream. Strong freezing effect, exotic scent, nice skincare - LOVE it! Sharp blade/mild razor is also a great combo, so no wonder it results BBSness.

Gave the Sheffield Kropp her very first shave after the restoration i just finished, and she delivered a BBS shave, very pleased with the razor, if i didn't know the razor and someone handed the razor over to me i would swear it was brand new, that's how good she looks.

    Finally Friday

This late night shaving is fast becoming a habit. Got to last through work tomorrow ... DFS+ or BBS pressure :think002:.

    Eucerin Cream
    Warm shower
    Omega Pro boar
    AOS Lavender SC
Shaving Factory TTO (Derby) w/ Astra
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser
    Nivea Sensitive
Master Bay Rum (body splash to help cool off)

BBS- w/ wtg, xtg, atg, jaw-line atg, wet shave touchup. Phew! A lot of work.

Stocked up on Master Bay Rum today at Sally's Beauty Supply. Just for fun (~$8 fun) picked up the Shaving Factory TTO razor. Rationalized that I could use it for travel. Performed better than I expected.

Now for a few caveats. I had to work ... carefully ... for the BBS-. For that matter, the AOS Lavender SC worked ... hard ... to keep me out of trouble! This razor is just too lightweight to be as efficient as I would like. Even my beloved Astra was at it's limit at spots using this razor. In a pinch ... worth ~$8 :think002: . After all, I actually did achieve BBS-. As an intro razor? Probably better to pay a wee bit more.

Well, it's take a hog shaving Friday, so I used an Omega Pro. It's just about broken in and still a smelly beast but worked well this morning. The Pyramid 7 is an old favorite of mine. I've had it a long time and has always been an excellent razor for me. It shaves a little on the stiff side, no singing here but a good shaver. The Calani was just icing on the cake. I had a very nice shave this morning, close, smooth and comfortable. Have a good one.

It was a decent shave. The G Bar shouldn't be a go to razor if I haven't shavedfor almost a week. I'll be trying it again on the weekend, that should hive me a better idea as to how the razor is.

Prep: Tepid Water Shower, Brush soaking in hot water
    Razor: FaTip Grande
    Blade: SuperMax Super Platinum
Brush: 1950's Stanley Flat Top Badger Brush
    Soap: TSD Sandalwood
    Cream: TSD Wheat Cream Sandalwood
    AS: English Leather
Post: Cold Water Rinse, Naturally Fresh Alum, Second Rinse, Double Splash of English Leather.

The FaTip never fails, always provided a BBS in two passes with only light buffing need on my trouble area. The English Leather was kicked up a notch by Sandalwood from the soap and cream.

I can now go face the world with a nice shave and smelling fantastic, yet not overbearing.

    Pre-shave: Hot shower, hair conditioner
    Soap: MWF
    Brush: AOS Starter/Travel Brush
Razor: Gillette Old Type (Thank you, Rich!)
    Blade: SuperMax (6)
Post-shave: warm water rinse, cold water rinse, witch hazel
    A/S: Pinaud Classic Vanilla
    Moisturizer: L'Oreal Men's Expert Vita Lift w/ SFP 15

I received the Old Type yesterday after winning Rich's PIF and so I loaded it up my SuperMax blade, which had 5 shaves on it, and used it this morning. I probably should have started with a new blade as the SuperMax has run it's course, I think. I didn't get any tugging or anything, but it just didn't seem as sharp. The old Type was one of those razors that I've always wanted to try and now I have. It delivered a DFS with minimal effort. This is one razor that will get a regular turn in the rotation and I look forward to using it again with a new blade. Have a great day everyone!
