1957, Super-Speed Gold "C4":

Did they make any DE razors in 1975 ? If yes, what code should I look for ? I would love to get one.

Look for a U.S. made Black Handle Super Adjustable or Black Handled Super Speed with code V.

My 1959 Gillette Fatboy.

The one on the right, is from 1956, my husband's birth year. I gave it to him as a graduation gift. The one on the left is from 1959, th year I was born (and the year dirt was invented.)

I have seen photos of my mother on the farm in the 1940s in dirt. I think 1959 was the year that dirt was "reformulated" to serve as an aid to the laundry soap marketeers!

1986 Not the greatest year for these razors but still a good shaver.

I have several various 1956 models but these four are B1, birth year and quarter for me.

Gillette? Nah.

Also the Lady Gillette and Gillette Knack razors were made in 1975. I believe the British Gillette Slim Twist was as well.

I can find plenty of 1982 Gillette's but I wanted my quarter as well, and people seem to be overcharging for C1's
