I feel like I just won the jackpot. I was looking for some vintage USA made brushes and struck gold with three of them. Ever Ready, Erskine, Rex brushes. View attachment 29805
I hope I can restore or maybe even use them as they are. I'll find out what I can do and if need be, find a tutorial on how to restore.
Here are some restoration threads. Some methods use drills, Dremel tool and sandpaper, others steam. Be sure not to steam older plastics, but use the manual drilling technique. http://theshaveden.com/forums/threa...is-a-way-synthetic-redux-picture-heavy.25519/ http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/win-some-and-lose-some-restoration-story.28372/ http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/lets-go-with-the-winner-a-restoration-story-continued.28380/ http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/rubberset-redux-green-butterscotch-with-black-swirl.28129/
