A fellow Montrealer (from another forum) mentioned this new shave soap from Proraso.

I saw that one coming (after seeing the Green Tea and Aloe foam on the shelves), and hopefully, they also make the cream.

It's for very sensitive skin, and does not not have camphor and eucalyptus,(and has just a bit of menthol)

Bought it 1 hour ago (just a trip to a drugstore, took me 5 minutes, hehe), tried it and love it.

Scent : the scent is similar as the Eshave White Tea cream, but not as strong.

    Performance :
    great; slick and soothing.

Cooling : not as cooling as the original soap; has a bit of menthol, and there is no eucalyptus and camphor.

    VERDICT : Yes yes yes.

Note: I bought mine at Pharmaprix (the one close to Futureshop), but they had only 3 tubs ; it's also available at Vasco

    better than I realized

My uncle went shopping in a shaving store and brought me one as a gift. It's actually a lot better than the green bowled soap, with a pleasant scent, very good lather, just enough menthol in it to be very comfortable and cooling, and definitely better skincare than the eucalyptus and menthol version in the green bowl. Pretty damn good after all, this soap is!

    Two words. Pumpkin guts.

This stuff smells exactly like a few days before Halloween when you are elbow deep in pumpkin guts. Other than that a pretty average performer. Not bad, but not great.

However, the smell is so pumpkin-gut-pungent that I can only stand to pull it out about once a year.... Say, on or around October 31st... ;)

A must have soap for anyone with sensitive skin. I've been using it for several days and I find that I'm enjoying it more than some of my more expensive soaps.

To be honest, as somebody with Rosacea, I don't care to much about how it smells, only about how it performs on sensitive skin, especially with those of us who suffer with Rosacea.

After all, the aftershave and cologne ends up being the scent anyway!

Give this a try. It's not expensive and my friend with super sensitive skin swears by it now.

I have sensitive skin and i loved it.
There is just a hint of cooling effect - similar to that of the Omega soap

This is a really excellent soap for sensitive skin and the Aloe really hydrates the skin. A nice alternative to the original in colder weather.
