Wow! The BK4 is a sweet brush. I've had some problems with getting a good (mainly enough) lather from this soap so I purposely used it on the maiden voyage for my Bk4. I had enough lather to shave a room full of people and the brush is very soft just like every one says.::

Result: 4.5/5.0 The Saint Charles Shave Cream by itself is not one of my favorites. The lather is thin although slick enough to for the job. The scent is weird. I'm going to use this as a pre shave lather product in the future.

Thursday AM:

Another drunk on bay rum day.

There's something about the Cold Air that makes me want to use Bay rum. Seem to remember this phenomenon from last year

Basically, a re-do of yesterday with a few swaps:

1. Wet face with warm water.
2. Smear on generous amount of Lucky Tiger Lemon Preshave Lotion
3. Shower, washing face last
4. Apply Sopping-Wet hot towel for 2 minutes, refreshing with new hot water as needed. (while in the shower)
5. Rinse face with fairly hot water,
6. Apply PREP Pre Shave Cream.
7. Apply light coat of lather (The Shave Den/'Hand of Queen' Bay Rum EO Lather Cream) Rub in with brush (Omega 6223 Pure Badger) for 30-60 seconds. Let stand another 30 seconds. Rub with fingertips.
8. Rinse with warm water, lather up (The Shave Den/'Hand of Queen' Bay Rum EO Lather Cream), and shave (1960 Gillette Superspeed Safety Razor w/ 7AM v.3 Double Edge Blade)
