Hello everyone on the advice of PLANof MAN I'd like to introduce myself to the forum. I hope I'm doing this correctly. After shaving for 34 years 12-14 times a month (mostly for work) with a Trac2 cartridge and canned goo and hating every irritating, razor burned minute of it, I became aware that traditional shaving still actually existed. So after some research(on going) resulting in a VERY bad case of R.A.D.(also on going) I obtained a "real" razor, put away the Trac2 and have been HAPPILY shaving everyday for the last two years. I've found the "hobbie" enjoyable, interesting and have met some very nice people in my pursuit of it, not to mention getting FANTASTIC shaves. I'm looking forward to my stay here at The Shave Den. I've learned much simply lurking and I plan to learn even more as a member. I also hope to contribute to the wealth of knowledge here and have alot of fun while doing it. So hello to everyone and Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler.
Since I don't speak Creole French Patois, I'll just settle for "welcome to the Shave Den," rather than "Bienvenue à notre den," which I'm guessing amounts to the same thing. Some nice folks will be along shortly to give you links to all the cool stuff here in the den, including the monthly newbie giveaway.
Welcome to the Den. We know you'll fit right in. So grab yourself a comfy chair, and give our threads a spin! Burma Shave
Well... Aaaaaahieeee mon amie! You're right, let the good times roll. Or should it, "Laissez les bon rasier rouler?" I'm glad for you to be with us. I guarantee. Welcome to the Den!
